AmeriCorps Central Texas honored at the 2020 Governor's Volunteer Awards Reception

On December 17th, at the 2020 One Star Foundation Governor's Volunteer Awards Reception, AmeriCorps Central Texas, received this year's Award for Community Leadership from Cecilia Abbott, first lady of Texas, recognizing our understanding of the importance of service and developing connections between groups and individuals and forging collaborative solutions to meet local needs. Dr. Mary Ellen Isaacs, Director of Literacy First, represented the AmeriCorps Central Texas Collaborative.
