NEW: Central Texas Housing Guide

As an initiative of Amanda Miller, AmeriCorps Program Director for ACT partner, Communities In Schools of Central Texas, current and potential AmeriCorps members serving in our area now have updated and detailed information regarding housing options.

The information included in the Central Texas Housing Guide was taken from a May 2022 survey of AmeriCorps members currently serving in the Central Texas region (Austin/San Marcos metro area). Members were asked to share information about how they found housing and roommates, what their monthly housing expenses are, and how they would rate their housing situation. The interactive map can be filtered by zip code, price range (monthly rent per person), or living situation, and includes reviews and general info about each person’s living situation.
